2018-2019 Tour Schedule…

Wed. Nov. 14 – HELLO DOLLY! Starring Betty Buckley – Oriental, Chicago
Winner of four 2017 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival! A meddlesome matchmaker brings together the young clerk of a  wealthy Yonkers merchant and his assistant with a widowed milliner and her assistant, while making sure she herself gets to marry the merchant. Cost is $155 per person; main floor seating and transportation.

Sat. Dec. 1 – Holiday Inn – Lincolnshire Marriott Theater
Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn tells the story of Jim, who leaves the bright lights of show business behind to settle down on his farmhouse in Connecticut…but life just isn’t the same without a bit of song and dance! We enjoy lunch before the 3:00 pm performance at the Wildfire Restaurant. Cost is $110 per person; includes show lunch and transportation.

Wed. Dec. 5 – Miss Saigon – Cadillac Palace Theater, Chicago
Experience the acclaimed new production of the legendary musical Miss Saigon. This is the epic story of a young Vietnamese woman named Kim, orphaned by war. Kim meets an American G.I. named Chris whose encounter will change their lives forever. For 3 years Kim goes on a journey to find her way back to Chris, who has no idea he’s fathered a son. This sensational spectacle with soaring music is dynamic! Don’t miss this much acclaimed revival! Cost is $155 per person; includes main floor seating and transportation.

Thurs. Dec. 6 – Our Annual Chicago Day or “One of a Kind Show”
@ the Merchandise Mart
Transportation with various drop off locations: Rush & Superior (Michigan Ave. & Water Tower),  the Loop (Macys & Christkindlemarkt)  or the Merchandise Mart. We depart the Highcrest Centre parking lot at 8:00 am and return back in Rockford about 6:30 pm.
Cost is just $40 for your transportation.

Mon. Dec. 31 New Years Eve – DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
Drury Lane Theatre, Oakbrook
Finding true love in the strangest of places… trapped in her provincial life, a young and intelligent Belle risks everything to become the heroine of her own story and break a wicked spell imprisoning a castle of enchanted misfits and a terrifying beast.Based on the beloved Academy Award-winning Disney film, this nine-time Tony nominated musical continues to win the hearts of people all over the world. Cost is $195 per person,
includes show, dinner and transportation. We depart the Highcrest Centre parking lot at 3:45 pm our dinner begins at 6:00 pm (four course meal-menu details soon), the show starts at 8:30 pm (2½ hours) and we arrive back in Rockford about 12:30 pm – Happy New Year!

Sun. Feb. 24, 2019 – Chicago Blackhawks vs  Dallas Stars – United Center, Chicago
the Puck Drops @ 2:00 pm!
We’ve booked our annual hockey game. Our seat locations are: Section 315
Rows 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7. Cost is $190 per person; this includes your ticket and
transportation to the United Center with time before the game for dinner at the UC.
Depart the Highcrest Centre parking lot @ 10:30 am; puck drops @ 2:00 pm back to Rockford after game.

Wed. Feb. 27 & Mar. 6 – Dear Evan Hansen, Oriental Theater, Chicago
A letter that was never meant to be seen, a lie that was never meant to be told, a life he never dreamed he could have. Evan Hansen is about to get the one thing he’s always wanted; a chance to finally fit in! Winner of Six 2017 Tony Awards including Best Musical and the 2018 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album!
Cost is $165 per person; includes main floor seating and transportation.

Thurs. April 11 – Mamma Mia! Drury Lane, Oakbrook
The international megahit Mamma Mia uses the greatest songs of ABBA to tell a hilarious story of marriage, family and finding where you belong, proving that in the end the winner takes it all! We will enjoy lunch before the 1:30 pm show. Cost is $110 per person; includes luncheon.

Wed. May 22 – WEST SIDE STORY – Lyric Premiere and New Co production
Tony and Maria are two wide eyed teenagers from opposing gangs who fall in love. As
their friends and family battle with one another, they long for “a place for …somewhere.”
Enjoy a musical-theater experience you’ll never forget with this classic favorite! We leave at 8:30 am with time on Michigan Ave. or the Loop for lunch before the 1:30 show.
Cost is $160 per person.

Wed. May 29 – AUGUST RUSH – Paramount Theater, Aurora
Evan Taylor, an 11 year old orphan, believes in music like some believe in fairy tales. In a cruel twist of fate, Evan’s mother, an accomplished classical cellist, and his father, the lead singer of a rock band, don’t even know he exists in this world. In this inspiring love story, music is everywhere but will it lead Evan home? Cost is $130 per person; main floor seating and lunch in the Meyer Ballroom before the 1:30 pm show.

Wed. July 31 – CATS – Oriental Theater, Chicago

Wed. Aug. 14 – COME FROM AWAY – Cadillac Palace Theater

Wed. Sept. 18 – The Band’s Visit – Cadillac Palace Theater, Chicago
Spend an evening in the company of unforgettable strangers at The Band’s Visit – now one of the most celebrated musicals ever. It rejoices in the way music brings us to life, brings us to laughter, brings us to tears and ultimately, brings us together. In an Israeli desert town where every day feels the same, something different is suddenly in the air. Dina, the local café owner, had long resigned her desires for romance to daydreaming about exotic films and music from her youth. When a band of Egyptian musician’s show up lost at her café, she and her fellow locals take them in for the night. Under the spell of the night sky, their lives intertwine in unexpected ways, and this once sleepy town begins to wake up!       Yes, We’re going in on Sunday, February 24 for the Hawks and the Dallas Stars at the United Center. We leave the parking lot at 10:30 am – you’ll have time for a bite to eat before the puck drops at 2:00 pm. Our seats are in Sec. 315 – Rows 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7. Cost is $190 per person.
