We planned this trip to the Blackhawk game after our first hockey game last year and the overwhelming response we received! The weather report blasted 4 - 8 inches of snow starting Friday afternoon, about 3:30 pm when we were scheduled to depart the Highcrest Centre for our hour and a half motor coach trip to the United Center. Our guests called all morning… what happens if it snows? My response… we NEVER not go 
and right on time, flurries swirling around us, we left for Chicago. We had a full bus all excited to see a Chicago Blackhawk game, many had gone last year and many had never seen a professional hockey game! We had a contest on the way in, the question was… what will the final score be and the tie breaker question was, what is the attendance for the game. Out of 56 guests 3 got the final score correct, Hawks 3 – Panthers 1 and out of those 3, one came within 700 of the total attendance of 21,555 to win 2 baseball packages (2 tickets and transportation) to one of our games this summer! Congradulations Matt!
What started out as a 2 hour trip turned into 4 1/2 hours… it was a blizzard! When our guests go with us they always know what capable hands they are in with our drivers, Steve, was outstanding! He got us to the United Center in time for the drop of the puck at 8:00 pm, which was delayed a half hour when the players were late getting there. We got back to Rockford, safe and happy at 1:00 am.
What a great game and experience… and what a great driver! We had a blast! Can’t wait until next for another hockey game…until then let’s get to a baseball game…check out our 2012 game schedule.
